Institutions and Associations Relating to Surveying

Surveyors have several Governing Bodies and Associations which they may or may not be affiliated to and in this section we give a brief outline of the Institutions and Associations to allow you to gain an understanding of their roles.

At GEM Surveyors all our Independent Chartered Surveyors are proud to be members of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Independent Surveyors & Valuers Association (ISVA), the Chartered Associations of Building Engineers (CABE) and The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
